Scholarships
|
Each year the Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh awards a $2,500 scholarship in honor of
Sallie Southall Cotten, a founder of the North Carolina Federation of Women's Clubs.
Our Endowment committee presents a scholarship to someone in need with furthering the
education of an adult.
This is our newest one, with a $5000 capital endorsement by Mr. and Mrs. Bedini.
The Lynne Bedini Lewis Endowed Scholarship will one day be awarded to a working, single
mother who is struggling to provide for her family and who desires to return to school to
make things better for herself and her children. |
